Same-day, scheduled or expedited: picking the right delivery service

Most runs we take fit one of three services. The difference is not the vehicle or the driver. It is how the driver’s day is built around your item.

Same-day delivery

Pickup and delivery inside the same business day, anywhere in Harris, Fort Bend, Montgomery and Galveston counties. Dispatch confirms a pickup window before the driver leaves, and the price is a flat rate by zone and mileage, quoted when you book.

Choose it when the item has to arrive today, but not in the next hour. Contracts, checks, small parts and retail transfers usually go this way.

Expedited courier

Direct point to point, with nothing else in the vehicle. The driver heads for your pickup as soon as the job is accepted and drives straight through to the drop-off. You pay a direct-drive premium based on distance and pickup time.

Choose it when a deadline is measured in minutes: a court filing, a part for equipment that is down, or closing documents.

Scheduled routes

A repeating run with the same stops, the same driver and the same times. We map the order once and hold it, and you get one monthly invoice instead of a stack of one-off tickets. The rate is set by the number of stops and days per week.

Choose it when you send the same thing on the same days: daily lab pulls, interoffice mail or pharmacy restocks.

The quick way to decide

  • It has to be there today: same-day delivery.
  • It has to be there as fast as a car can get it there: expedited courier.
  • You will send it again next week: a scheduled route.

Whichever you pick, the price is quoted before the driver moves, the first 15 minutes of waiting at each stop are included, and after-hours runs can be arranged in advance. See the full picture on our medical courier and legal courier pages.
