Drive for RouteSure

Contract courier work across four Houston-area counties

RouteSure runs on a small in-house team and a network of independently contracted drivers. We are not always hiring, but we keep a list, and we go to it first when a route opens or volume grows.

The work

What a RouteSure run looks like

Scheduled routes

The same stops at the same times, mapped once and run on a repeating schedule. You learn the sites and the people who sign.

On-call runs

Single point-to-point jobs dispatched as they come in, with a confirmed pickup window and a firm deadline.

What you carry

Medical specimens and pharmacy supplies, legal filings and sealed records, and sourced goods delivered against a purchase order.

Before you start

What a contracted driver supplies

Your own reliable vehicle, a valid Texas driver’s licence and current auto insurance.

A smartphone for dispatch, navigation and capturing proof of delivery.

A clean motor vehicle record, and willingness to pass a background check.

A W-9 on file. Drivers work as independent contractors, not employees.

Pay and dispatch

How the arrangement works

Pay is per run or per route, and the rate is agreed before you take the first job. You are quoted the work in advance rather than finding out what it paid afterwards.

Work is offered, not assigned. Scheduled routes are committed ahead of time; on-call runs come to you and you take the ones that fit. Dispatch tells you the handling rules for an item before you accept it, not at the pickup door.

Getting started

Three steps onto the list

01

Send your details

Your name, phone, the vehicle you drive and the areas you cover. Use the contact form and choose the driver option.

02

We check the paperwork

Licence, insurance, driving record and W-9. Nothing is dispatched to you until that is complete.

03

You go on the list

When a route opens or volume rises in your area, we call the list before we look anywhere else.

Want to be on the list?

Send your details and the areas you cover. We will come back within one business day, and we will tell you plainly if there is nothing open right now.
