A cookie is a small file a website asks your browser to keep, so it can recognise you on your next click or your next visit. This page explains how RouteSure Solutions, LLC uses them on routesuresolutions.com. It sits alongside our privacy policy.
The short version
Reading this site sets no cookies at all. We use no advertising cookies and nothing that follows you to other websites. We do count visits, but with software that runs on our own site and uses no cookies. The only cookies the site ever sets are the sign-in cookies used by our own staff.
When cookies are used
- If you log in to the site. WordPress sets sign-in cookies for staff accounts, which keep the session going and are deleted when you log out. These apply to us, not to visitors.
- Keeping the site fast. Our caching software can set a short-lived cookie so it serves you the right version of a page.
All of these are what the rules call strictly necessary or functional cookies: the site cannot do what you asked without them, and they are not used to build a profile of you.
Browser storage
Our visitor statistics software loads a small script, which reports the page you are on without storing anything in your browser. Nothing is saved in your browser’s local storage.
Requests to other companies
Some parts of the page are fetched from other companies. These do not set cookies on our behalf, but the request does reveal your IP address to them:
- Google Fonts supplies the typefaces.
- Hostinger hosts this website.
How to control cookies
Every browser lets you see the cookies a site has stored, delete them, and block new ones. Look under Settings, then Privacy. Because we use no tracking cookies, blocking them all will not break this site or change anything you see.
Why there is no cookie pop-up
Consent banners exist for cookies that track you, such as advertising and analytics cookies. We do not use any. Our visitor statistics are collected without cookies and without an IP address being stored, so there is nothing to ask you to accept. If we ever add a tool that tracks you, we will ask for your consent before it loads, and we will update this page.
Changes to this policy
If we add a tool that uses cookies, we will update this page and change the date at the top.
